Examining the Effects of Big Data Analytics Capabilities on Firm Performance in the Malaysian Banking Sector

Banks’ primary goal is to gain profit for survival and thrive. Therefore, they have take various measures, such as data analysis, maintain their sustainable competitiveness. Along with the rapid development of information technology, big analytics capabilities (BDAC) considered essential banks in highly dynamic market. To an in-depth understanding economic importance BDAC banking sector Malaysia, this research examines relationship between firm performance (i.e., market operational performance) based on resource-based view (RBV) contingent (CRBV). The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was adopted analyse collected from 162 bank managers Malaysia. findings verify that composed seven tangible/intangible resources human skills, it significantly influences sector.
